SGMA Focus:

Missions, Evangelism, Discipleship

When T. Michael Flowers returned to Georgia in 1955, his singular focus was ‘church planting.’ That purpose became the goal of Southern Gospel Mission Association (SGMA), Incorporated with its incorporation in 1971–“the establishing of New Testament Churches.” SGMA’s initial thrust was in the Southeastern portion of the United States. Over time, our activities spread beyond the borders of the Southeastern United States and even the United States with efforts extending to Kenya on the east coast of the continent of Africa. Regardless of the geography, the goal was “the establishing of New Testament Churches”–always has been and always will be.
